About the Role As a Crematorium Technician, you will assist in the day-to-day operation of the Council's crematoriums, ensuring all cremations are carried out in strict accordance with legislation, environmental requirements and best practice. You will play a key role in supporting bereaved families, funeral directors and colleagues by delivering services with care, respect and sensitivity at all times. About You Experience of working in an operational or technical environment, ideally within bereavement or public services. A calm, respectful and compassionate approach when working with bereaved families and members of the public. An understanding of the importance of health, safety, environmental compliance and accurate record keeping. A strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, respecting religious, cultural and personal beliefs.
