We are seeking Financial Assessment Assessors to join our newly formed review team. In this role, you will support adults, their representatives and carers by carrying out annual reviews of financial assessments that determine contributions toward care and support services. You will work closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care, providing accurate and timely assessments while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
In this role, you will support adults, their representatives, and carers by carrying out annual reviews of financial assessments that determine individual contributions toward care and support services. You will work closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care & Health Financial Services to deliver accurate and timely reviews of financial assessments, ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and local policy. A key part of the role is ensuring that financial assessments reflect the most up-to-date personal and financial information, so the assessment accurately reflects the persons current circumstances and the correct contribution they are assessed to pay.
We offer flexible hybrid working, you will be provided with all the equipment you need to effectively complete your role both from home and at our office. There is a requirement to attend our office in Eastbourne one day each week, on a rota basis, as a minimum, to allow you to spend time collaborating with your colleagues.
Please note, during your induction and initial training period, daily attendance at our office for the first few weeks will be required to provide you with the best support and training.
We are looking for candidates who:
* Have ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines
* Are confident assessing and processing financial data and information accurately
* Have the ability to resolve non complex and complex decisions, with line manager support, and signpost
* Are able to use a wide range of IT systems such a Word, Outlook, Excel etc.
* Are a positive, proactive person who possesses a "can do" attitude and be willing to provide a wide range of support that supports the best outcomes for our clients and their representatives and carers
* Have a desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team
