Pay: £140-£200 per day

Prospero Teaching are supporting a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Mold area who are seeking a full-time KS3 Teacher for a long-term role starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys working with pupils at lower secondary level and wants to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
The role
As a KS3 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress, confidence and overall development. You’ll work closely with the school’s pastoral and subject teams to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and valued. The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and committed to high teaching standards.
Responsibilities
4. Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS3 curriculum
5. Creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment
6. Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
7. Supporting both academic and personal development of students
8. Managing behaviour in line with school policies
9. Working effectively with colleagues, support staff and pastoral teams
10. Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff

The ideal candidate
15. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
16. Experience teaching KS3 (any subject specialism welcome)
17. Confident, enthusiastic and able to motivate learners
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
19. Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
20. Understanding of safeguarding and secondary school policies
