Salary: MPS - UPS- £31,650- £49,084 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern:This is a full time, permanent positionworking 1.0 FTE, 39 weeks per year

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our wonderful team to undertake the role of English Teacher at Pilton Community College – a truly inclusive school.

You will:

* Teach English across the age and ability range in accordance with the requirements of a professionally qualified teacher
* Adapt and deliver lessons to students according to their educational needs and with reference to prior attainment and SEND as required
* Set high expectations for all students
* Embrace the continued professional development programme within the school, striving to be a lifelong learner, maximising opportunities to make impact within the role.

Pilton Community College is a school with an ambitious common curriculum. We have a centralised behaviour system and are focused on reducing teacher workload.

You must be highly organised, with the ability to establish effective learning opportunities and deliver outstanding lessons; encouraging our students to be the best they can. If you have the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support students to ensure they make good progress - we would like to hear from you.
