Secondary Music Teacher Start: ASAP Contract: Full-time Milk Education is seeking a passionate, creative, and resilient Music Teacher to join a supportive department in a Secondary school in South Yorkshire. The role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 Music, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that develop students’ musical skills, creativity, and appreciation of music across a range of genres. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Music lessons in line with the national curriculum Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons Lead and support performance, composition, and listening activities Develop students’ musical skills, confidence, and creativity Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to support learning Manage rehearsal spaces, instruments, and classroom resources effectively Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student outcomes Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Ability to teach Music at KS3 and KS4 Strong classroom and practical lesson management skills Knowledge of performance, composition, and music technology (where applicable) Ability to build positive relationsh...
