Responsibilities
* In this Mobile Catering Supervisor post, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service.
* Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
* You must be aware of HACCP procedures - completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
* Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
* Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen and its surrounds.
* We have a permanent vacancy to join our team within schools in the Glenrothes and Leven area covering in various schools or commercial units as and when required.
Qualifications
* Catering experience or a qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.
* Training on in-house systems will be provided; working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post if not already held.
* Ability to travel throughout Fife within a limited timescale.
* Before starting, you will be required to attend an induction training day.
* Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland is required before appointment.
Salary and hours
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Salary: £25,885.80 to £28,175.91 (pro-rata)
* Working pattern: 30 hours per week
* Location: Glenrothes / Leven Area
