We provide high-quality semi-independent supported accommodation for young people aged 16–18, helping them build confidence, stability, and the life skills they need to thrive as adults.
About the Role
As a Children's Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in guiding and empowering young people as they transition towards independent living. You'll be part of a positive, forward-thinking team that believes in nurturing potential, celebrating progress, and delivering care with respect and purpose.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Providing consistent emotional and practical support to young people aged 16–18
* Supporting individuals with daily living skills, education, and employment goals
* Encouraging personal growth, independence, and wellbeing
* Working collaboratively with social services, families, and partner agencies
* Maintaining clear records and contributing to tailored care plans
About You
You'll bring warmth, patience, and professionalism to everything you do with the ability to build trust and communicate with empathy and respect. You understand that small moments of encouragement can create life-changing impact.
To be successful, you'll need:
* Experience working with children or young people (essential)
* A relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (Children & Young People / Health & Social Care)
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and quality of care
* Flexibility to work shifts, including some evenings and weekends
