Behaviour Mentor – Thornton (FY5)

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Thornton (FY5) seeking a full-time Behaviour Mentor. This role is ideal for someone who can build trust, encourage positive choices, and make a lasting impact on pupils’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to keep pupils engaged in learning
* Implement positive behaviour strategies to guide and motivate children
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to maintain a safe, structured environment
* Be a consistent, caring adult that pupils can rely on every day
What We’re Looking For:
* Calm under pressure with a natural ability to show empathy
* Confident supporting children with behavioural or emotional needs
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Experience in education, youth work, or care (desirable but not essential)
