A fantastic opportunity has emerged for an experienced Facilities Manager to join one of the UK’s leading FM providers, taking ownership of a very prestigious static site in West London.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance. You will lead a dedicated team of engineers and supervisors, driving performance, continuous improvement, and outstanding client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of maintenance engineers and supervisors to deliver high-quality service.
* Foster a proactive culture centred on safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management in line with company standards.
Operations & Service Delivery
* Take ownership of all PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring contractual and legislative compliance.
* Ensure full adherence to health & safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
* Manage subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to specification.
Client & Stakeholder Relations
* Act as the primary site contact, ensuring exceptional communication and service delivery.
* Attend regular client meetings and provide updates on performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong technical background within hard FM (mechanical, electrical, or building services).
* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) preferred.
* Proven experience managing maintenance operations on a static or critical site.
* Excellent understanding of statutory compliance and maintenance processes.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop teams.
* Confident communicator experienced in dealing with clients and senior stakeholders.
* Budget management experience and confident with CAFM systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
