* Providing assistance to senior management in the preparation of technical and financial proposals.
* Contribute to work winning and preparation of bid documents.
* Manage personal/team budgets and resources to achieve financial targets
* Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate apply best practice within the team environment
* Act in the role of Contractor’s Responsible Engineer.
* Coordinating and ensuring the production of specification and drawings.
* Undertaking concept design, feasibility studies and preliminary design.
* Attendance at meetings with team, clients, contractors and statutory bodies, including Technical Approvals as required.
* Provide supervision and training to staff.
Skills and Qualifications
* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Effective communication skills in a Client facing role.
* Proven experience of delivering projects to time and budget.
* Proven experience of inspection, assessment and design of various structures.
* 10 years design experience in a range of civil engineering projects.
* Full UK driving licence
