About the role as a Manufacturing Engineer:
If you enjoy designing and optimising manufacturing processes, this is your role. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and improving jigs, fixtures, and tooling to ensure production is accurate, efficient, and repeatable. You’ll work closely with production teams to implement solutions that improve quality, speed, and safety on the shop floor.
What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer:
* Designing, prototyping, and maintaining jigs, fixtures, and tooling for aerospace manufacturing
* Working with production teams to identify process improvements and efficiency gains
* Leading projects that optimise workflow, assembly processes, and equipment utilisation
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by improving tools, layouts, and work instructions
What they’re looking for from a Manufacturing Engineer:
* Strong background in manufacturing, ideally in aerospace or high-precision engineering
* Hands-on experience with tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machining processes
* Engineering qualifications are preferred, but practical experience is highly valued
