Operations Manager

This is an exciting and busy role, with responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the retail division of my client’s business by ensuring efficiency, identifying process improvements and managing human & physical resources
Your role will involve:
* Gaining a full understanding of the retail business, carrying out daily management of the Operations and Installations teams, ensuring all operations are running smoothly
* Carrying out cross department cooperation and communication
* Analysing each departments performance and resolving performance issues
* Managing human resource requirements, monitoring performance and identifying team development goals
* Taking responsibility for budget control and financial forecasting as well as project debt management
* Reviewing business activities, identifying process improvements and collaborating with other business units for the improvement of processes
* Management of physical resources, including the buildings and contents
* Ensuring compliance with legalisation, health and safety and company policies
You will be the ideal candidate due to your:
* Strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate at all levels and identify process requirements
* MS Office - Level intermediate plus with strong general IT capabilities
* Managing multiple priorities including basic Human Resource activities and recruitment
* Health and Safety and CDM knowledge, familiarity with industry specific subcontractors and construction knowledge
* Confident people person with a positive and friendly attitude
* Highly motivated, detailed, resilient, adaptable and eager to learn
