About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Erection Engineer to join our Pre‑Construction / Integration Team, supporting the delivery of a major, technically complex nuclear project.
Working as part of the pre‑construction team, you will play a key role in developing and defining construction sequences and methodologies across mechanical, electrical and HVAC disciplines. Your work will directly support safe, efficient and high‑quality installation on site, ensuring alignment across programmes, civils and equipment teams.

Location: Bristol (Aztec West) or Manchester (City Centre)
Working pattern: Minimum 2 days per week in the office
What you'll be doing
* Develop and support construction sequences within your area of expertise (mechanical, electrical, HVAC)
* Produce construction methodologies and method statements to support installation planning and on‑site execution
* Contribute to the overall construction plan, defining logical sequencing to ensure efficient installation
* Work closely with planning and programme teams to understand constraints, develop detailed activity breakdowns and inform the installation path
* Engage proactively with stakeholders to develop and agree installation sequences for the Nuclear Island
* Support constructability reviews, providing guidance to enable robust construction schedules
* Communicate construction plans clearly across internal teams and the wider project (including civils and equipment teams) to ensure full alignment
* Provide a clear baseline plan to support performance monitoring, assessment of change and control during installation
* Support adherence to agreed plans throughout the installation phase
Who we're looking for
Essential Experience And Skills
* Proven track record in developing construction sequences in technically complex projects
* Strong commitment to safety, security and environmental responsibility
* Experience delivering constructability reviews and drafting construction method statements
* Knowledge of engineering design, contract strategy and field execution for project delivery
* Experience working on multi‑disciplinary EPCM projects
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
* Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
* Strong numerical and analytical capability
Desirable
* Experience within the nuclear sector or a similarly regulated industry
* Detailed understanding of PWR design and/or PWR operations
* Degree and chartered status in engineering, construction, physics or a related discipline
* Good working knowledge of CDM Regulations
* Understanding of nuclear quality requirements and quality assurance processes
