The Opportunity
This is a full time varied and genuinely interesting role at the heart of our finance function, reporting directly to the CFO. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of all transactional and management accounting across a multi-entity group with international subsidiaries. No two months are the same — and you will gain broad exposure to cashflow, intercompany accounting, payroll, VAT, and management reporting in a business that moves quickly.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full accounts receivable and payable cycles, including invoicing, credit control, supplier payments and Xero posting
* Coordinate monthly payroll across multiple entities, including HMRC submissions, pension payments, payroll journals and P11d preparation
* Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across all group bank accounts
* Maintain and update the group cashflow forecast, ensuring it reconciles to live cash positions across all subsidiaries
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts to the CFO, including all supporting schedules — prepayments, accruals, deferred revenue and nominal ledger reconciliations
* Track and allocate costs for our RokkerX operations in Bulgaria and Spain; liaise with local accountants and reconcile intercompany balances monthly
* Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns
* Review staff expense claims (Expensify) for correct VAT treatment and receipt compliance
* Manage travel booking reconciliations via TravelPerk
* Support the CFO on ad hoc financial and commercial projects as the business grows
About You
* AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience — what matters most is your track record
* A minimum of 8 years in a broad accounting role covering transactional processing, cashflow management and management accounts
* Experience working in or with an international, multi-entity business
* Strong Excel skills; experience with Xero is a significant advantage
* Methodical, discreet and highly organised — you take ownership and get things done without being chased
* A team player who is comfortable working closely with a senior leadership team in a fast-paced SME environment

* Salary of £38,000 – £42,000 depending on experience
