1:1 Support Assistant
Location: Filey
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2026
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to provide tailored support to a pupil with additional needs in a secondary school setting.
About the School
The school follows a personalised support approach, ensuring pupils receive consistent 1:1 assistance to access learning and regulate behaviour effectively.
Responsibilities
* Provide individualised 1:1 support throughout the school day
* Support access to the curriculum and lesson activities
* Assist with emotional regulation and confidence building
* Work closely with teaching and SEN staff
Requirements
* Previous experience in a 1:1 support role preferred
* Calm, nurturing, and consistent approach
* Ability to follow support plans and strategies
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
