The Role : We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a fresh challenge in a highly ambitious company. As the Finance Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the day-to-day finance function runs smoothly and to support the Finance Director in providing timely and meaningful management accounts. The responsibilities of the role: Deputising for the Finance Director as and when required Monthly preparation of management accounts multiple entities with variance to budget analysis with commentary Manage 13-week cashflow reporting Assist in the preparation of company budgets and forecasts Run the weekly company KPIs Establish Gross Margin Reporting across the business VAT returns and management Statutory reporting for ONS and other government bodies Support External accountants in the preparation of Statutory Accounts Prepare the company accounts ready for statutory audit Assist in the preparation of quarterly reporting packs to the board of Directors Assist in the development of the Trainee Accountant Ad-hoc project work as directed by the Finance Director Working closely with Production / Operations and Procurement, develop and introduce stock management and control processes and develop and improve the Product costing. What You Will Need : The successful candidate will have a professional accounting qualification AAT, CIMA as well as experience in a similar Finance/Accounts role. High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to work to deadlines and being organised and motivated are all necessary personal skills for this role.
