We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join our Employee Services Team in Bradford.
Reporting to the People Services Team Leader, you will deliver an efficient and accurate HR and pay administration service to employees and line managers for all activities associated with the employee lifecycle, through policies and procedures.
What will you be doing?
1. Deliver a quality, consistent, compliant and professional service to all employees
2. Resolve day to day employee and line manager service enquiries, issues and complaints, identifying and raising any issues and incidents as appropriate
3. Ensure that all employee data is entered into associated HR systems in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.
4. Administer end to end employee lifecycle transactional processes, including joiners, movers, leavers, pay changes, special leave types, sickness administration and compensation and benefit administration for all employees and managers.
5. Accurately process pay data, documentation and information and instruct payroll accordingly to ensure timely and accurate production of payrolls.
6. Administer and monitor the pre-hire and onboarding processes for internal and external candidates, including issuing of contracts of employment, initiating onboarding and joining instructions.
We tend to look for people with:
7. Previous HR Advisor/Generalist experience.
8. An understanding of the HR employee lifecycle.
9. Experience of working in a HR or Payroll team, ideally within a customer orientated commercial environment.
10. An interest in understanding of employment law, its application and best practice.
11. Strong communication skills, capable of delivering advice guidance and managing challenging conversations.
12. A minimum L3 CIPD qualification.
13. Experience of providing relevant advice on policy and process to line managers and employees.
