Higher level Teaching Assistant –KS1 and 2 – Eastleigh
Start Date: March 2026
Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent
Salary: £90 – £105 per day (Dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 – 3:30
Location: Eastleigh
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HLTA to work in an Ofsted rated “Good” school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. The school boasts well behaved children and a supportive and established staff. This role would include covering PPA and illness throughout KS1 and 2.
You must have an HLTA or CACHE level 3 qualification to apply for this role. This would be an excellent role for an ECT looking to take their first steps into teaching.
What You’ll Be Doing
Covering classes on a planned or ad hoc basis throughout KS1 and 2
Providing EHCP support for those pupils with additional needs
Teach booster sessions for those who need support to meet their academic targets
Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs.
Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.
Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment.
Excellent classroom management skills
