This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both academically and personally. Working closely with teachers and the SEND department, you’ll provide tailored support, deliver engaging interventions, and help create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects
* Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions based on individual student needs
* Assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment
* Help with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom organisation
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working in a school or educational setting (paid or voluntary)
* A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred, not required)
* Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
