Experienced candidates; salary from £38,855 depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
Role Details
This is a permanent, full-time position based in the UK.
About the Role:
As an Electrical Installations Tutor, you will deliver practical and theoretical electrical training to apprentices or commercial clients, both in the classroom and through hands-on training.
You will handle courses such as C&G 2365 Level 2 & 3, C&G 2382, C&G 2391, C&G 2377, C&G 2921, BPEC Solar PV, and Battery Storage, and may develop training materials to meet specific needs. You will also be responsible for apprenticeship delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver quality electrical installation courses
* Develop and update lesson plans and training materials
* Assess apprentices' work and provide feedback
* Monitor and record apprentices' progress
* Support and mentor apprentices
* Conduct Progress Reviews with apprentices and employers
* Ensure health and safety compliance
* Collaborate with employers for workplace training
* Assess courses and maintain records
* Review student performance and implement quality assurance
* Follow health & safety, equality, and diversity policies
* Work effectively as part of a team and support safeguarding and Prevent initiatives
About You:
Requirements:
* Recent industry experience in electrical installation
* Level 3 Teaching qualification or equivalent
* Level 2 English and Math qualifications
* Knowledge of electrical and science principles
* Practical skills in electrical installations
* Driving license and access to vehicle
* Qualifications in delivering specific electrical courses (5357, 5393, 2382)
* Level 3 Assessing and Level 4 Quality Audit qualifications or equivalents
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated and able to manage projects
* Problem-solving skills and a patient demeanor
* Leadership qualities and team spirit
* Full UK Driving License
The successful candidate will undergo checks, including an enhanced DBS and proof of right to work in the UK.
