Sales Manager, B2B Events / Surrey / Hybrid / £45,000 plus OTE
We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead revenue performance across a portfolio event. This senior role is responsible for delivering commercial growth, managing and developing a sales team, and ensuring the overall financial success of the event.
This opportunity suits a results-focused sales leader with experience in events, exhibitions, media, or a B2B commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and exceed personal and team revenue targets across stand sales and sponsorship
Manage day-to-day sales performance and sales activity levels
Execute the event’s commercial and brand strategy
Develop new business and grow existing accounts
Identify and drive new revenue streams, including sponsorship opportunities
Lead, coach and develop the sales team to maximise performance
Monitor pipeline, forecasting and reporting through CRM systems
Manage the rebook process and optimise the event floorplan
Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure commercial success and high-quality event delivery
Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular revenue forecasts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholdersAbout You
1+ years’ experience in a sales role within events, exhibitions, media, or a related B2B environment
Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams
Commercially astute with strong forecasting capability
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
Confident negotiator and relationship builder
CRM proficient and data-driven
Highly motivated and results-oriented
