People Services Advisor (HR Advisor) - Tongwell, Milton Keynes

As a People Services Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering day-to-day transactional HR and administration of the People Services department, with a specific focus on supporting and advising middle management across the Group on people management processes.
Here's a flavour of what you'll be doing:
* Monitoring the department inbox and respond to day-to-day enquiries (both internal and external) in a timely and efficient manner
* Timely administration of new starters, leavers, variations to contracts, and processing of offers of employment ensuring the quality of work meets departmental and organisational expectations
* As delegated by the Senior People Services Advisor and the Head of People Services, attending ER meetings as HR support, taking notes and providing sound advice
* Acting as the point of contact for Dawson Recruit into People Services, in collating and distributing offers of employment and ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support organisational goals
* Contributing to the production of information reports and data analysis as required by People Services management
Qualifications:
* CIPD, or equivalent, qualified
* Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, with a solid understanding of HR principles and practices
* Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility at all levels of the organisation
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* High level of discretion and confidentiality
