The Nursing Home is situated inBradford,BD3,the 85-room facility at The Care Centre offers a range of specialist care for residents, ranging from Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s care, to care for stroke victims.
Successful applicants, will have 1-2 years experience preferably in a similar role.
Salary: £12.82 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
* Support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
* Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
* Help patients with mobility and physical activities as required.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
* Assist with the administration of medication under supervision.
o Experience in a similar role in the UK for at least 1 year
o Strong communication skills
o Ability to follow care plans effectively,
o Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
o Experience in providing care in a home care setting
o Proficiency in English and basic IT skills
o Prior experience in a care home environment
o Team player
o Ability to work on own initiative
o A caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
o Basic knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.
o Relevant certifications such as an NVQ in Health and Social Care are beneficial.
o Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to different healthcare settings.
