Your new employer is one of the UKs largest facilities management providers, looking to hire a Senior ICT Shift Technician to join their fast-growing data centre team in Stockley Park.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a critical 24/7 environment, taking ownership of ICT operations, supporting junior engineers, and ensuring systems are fully operational. There is strong training, upskilling, and clear progression into senior or specialist ICT roles.
What you'll be doing:
Overseeing ICT systems across the data centre, including DCIM, SCADA, BMS, VESDA, and alarm monitoring
Managing and completing ServiceNow tickets, emails, and job queues within SLA timescales
Carrying out racking/stacking, patching, break-fix, decommissioning, and infrastructure installations
Troubleshooting ICT faults and escalating issues where required
Maintaining accurate documentation, shift handovers, and system updates
Supervising junior engineers and acting as the point of escalation during shifts
Ensuring compliance with health & safety, permit-to-work procedures, and client standards
Monitoring stock levels and reporting requirements to management

The Person:
Experienced ICT professional with a strong data centre background
Skilled in network infrastructure, structured cabling, and hardware installations
Confident troubleshooting ICT faults in a live environment
Strong team leadership and communication skills
Comfortable working shift patterns in a 24/7 critical environment
