Position required: Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: Acacia Hall, Friesthorpe, Lincolnshire
Salary: £25,105.40
Hours: 38 hours (full time), part time can be considered.
Annual Leave: 40 days per annum for a full-time position (pro rata for part time position)

About the role
This role will be fulfilling with the opportunity to have a real impact on improving the lives of the individuals who use our services.
The purpose of the role is to support individuals to develop their ability to perform and participate in activities of daily living as part of Kisimul’s Meaningful Life Model.
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you would follow therapy plans and carry out interventions with the individuals within the service in a variety of environments under the guidance and supervision of the Occupational Therapist. You would also support with the delivery of training and provide role‑modelling and coaching to support staff to carry out therapeutic approaches.
You would provide a service to the individuals at Acacia Hall, both the school and residential settings. You will have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with individuals and every day you will be able to see the impact that your support has on their learning and quality of life.
About You
You have some knowledge and experience of supporting people with but not limited to: special needs, learning disability, autism, associated mental health difficulties.
You will have an appetite for learning, adaptable skills and good physical stamina.
A relevant qualification e.g. a related NVQ, degree or BTEC qualification is desirable, but not essential.
