Leicester Grammar School Trust is seeking a committed and highly organised Deputy Clerk to Trustees to support the delivery of effective governance across the Trust. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, this pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Trusts continued success by ensuring high standards of governance and regulatory compliance.
This is a varied and rewarding position that requires exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will have the confidence and capability to manage sensitive information, minute high-level meetings with accuracy and clarity, and ensure the smooth running of all Board and Committee processes. Strong written communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to produce professional and concise documentation.
This role would suit an individual with experience in governance, compliance, or executive-level administration, who is able to remain calm and diplomatic when managing multiple deadlines and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible working approach, and a strong alignment with the ethos and values of Leicester Grammar School Trust. You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team, playing a vital role in upholding the Trusts commitment to excellence and accountability.
This is a part-time role averaging 15-20 hours per week, and some flexibility will be required to accommodate trustee meetings, which typically begin at around 5:00pm.
