We are seeking a motivated and proactive
Meetings & Events Contractor
to join a global pharmaceutical company. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across therapy areas, support delegate management, and contribute to the delivery of impactful healthcare events across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the organisation and coordination of both live and virtual meetings including advisory boards, internal training sessions, and HCP events.
* Communicate with healthcare professionals (HCPs), institutions, and internal teams to manage agreements, signatures, and documentation.
* Ensure audit readiness by maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with industry codes of conduct.
* Manage meeting logistics including booking venues, accommodation, transportation, and catering.
* Build and track Cvent registration websites using pre-set templates (training provided).
* Support budget management including reconciliation, honoraria calculations, reporting, and financial tracking.
* Provide administrative support to the Meetings & Events team including calendar management, material preparation, and project tracking.
* Confidently participate in stakeholder meetings, provide updates, and follow up with detailed notes.
* Occasional overseas travel to provide on-site event support.
Skills & Experience
* Strong interest in
healthcare events
and/or
project management
.
* Excellent
project management, communication, and customer service skills
.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and within a team.
* Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Experience with event tools such as
Veeva Event Management, Cvent, Asana, Apttus
(training provided if required).
* BA degree (2:1 or above) preferred.
