ATT Trainee Tax Assistant

An exciting opportunity for a self-motivated trainee tax assistant to support a growing tax team while studying for the ATT qualification.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing assistance across a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
2. Supporting the preparation and submission of tax returns (personal, partnership, corporate)
3. Assisting in the preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts for tax purposes
4. Liaising with regulatory authorities on behalf of clients
5. Managing tax filing deadlines to ensure accurate and timely submissions
6. Maintaining and updating client records in internal systems
7. Supporting client managers with accounting-related tasks during quieter periods
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
8. Minimum grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English, and equivalent of 96 UCAS points
9. Strong proficiency in Excel and other IT systems
10. Keen attention to detail and accuracy
11. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills
12. Strong team player with the ability to work independently
Desirable:
13. Relevant work experience (preferred but not required)
14. Full, clean driving license (preferred but not required)
