The Opportunity
Owning and driving a coherent software strategy across the business.
Leading three software competence managers specialising in C#, LabView, and Python.
Partnering with architects to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
Integrating software with hardware in a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary development environment.
What You’ll Bring
Extensive experience in team leadership and people management.
Management of software engineering managers, multiple teams and products.
Proven track record in software development for machine tools, desktop applications, and real‑time control systems.
Experience integrating software with evolving hardware across cross‑functional teams.
Strong agile/lean methodology experience in multi‑disciplinary environments.
Deep knowledge of software development cycles and programming best practices.
You are a self‑motivated leader who inspires teams to deliver their best work, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
This is predominantly an onsite role with some work‑from‑home flexibility.
