Job Description
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Family Department.
* Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court forms with accuracy.
* Manage and organise diaries, meetings, and appointments.
* Handle client communication, including calls and emails, in a professional manner.
* Maintain and update client records and case files efficiently.
* Assist with billing processes and general office management tasks.
* Support the team with ad hoc tasks as required within the Family Department.
* Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal protocols at all times.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Assistant/Secretary should have:
* Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Familiarity with legal terminology and processes, particularly in family law is a bonus.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
