About this Role


We are looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic candidate to teach one or both subjects offered within the Business and Economics Department.

This post will suit early career teachers, or those considering returning to the profession, who want to join a school offering very high academic standards within a supportive, traditional and disciplined environment.

The successful candidate will join a motivated, successful, highly supportive and hardworking department. We provide a strong mentoring framework for all new staff and actively encourage staff to continue to evaluate and develop their own professional practice.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, great enthusiasm for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire our students. About our Business and Economics Department

The Business and Economics Department is a vibrant and thriving area of the school. The department has a very successful record of offering Business and Economics subjects at both GCSE and A Level.

The subjects taught within the department are:

* GCSE Business
* GCSE Economics
* A Level Business
* A Level Economics

The department is a friendly and supportive environment in which to work and whilst it sets high expectations of students all members of the department work hard to ensure students are given the necessary support they need. This is reflected in the strong results the department consistently delivers at both GCSE and A Level.
