Job Title: Facilities Shift Technician Location: Oldham Shift Pattern: 2 on / 2 off / 3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am (rotating days and nights) Key Responsibilities: Preventative maintenance, repair, and modification of plant and equipment Daily routine tasks supporting high purity water supply to manufacturing Monitoring and maintaining Gas Detection and Building Management Systems (BMS) Maintaining process cooling, compressed air, vacuum, bulk gas, effluent, heating, and electrical systems Responding effectively to plant malfunctions, alarms, and breakdowns Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3, ONC, or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Proven experience in a Facilities Maintenance role Mechanical bias with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Knowledge of H&V plant and high purity water systems Understanding of safe systems of work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and basic computer literacy Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in a second discipline or willingness to work towards IPAF, FLT, or PASMA licence Experience in manufacturing, clean room, HVAC, water, chemical, or chilling plant environments Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, HVAC controls, and 3-phase systems Benefits: Aviva Group Personal Pension (GPP) Scheme Aviva Life Ass...
