What you will do
* Communicate with clients, members and advisers via email, letter and telephone
* Process client pension payrolls, including calculations of net pay, arranging payments, liaising with tax offices and preparing year‑end returns
* Prepare computer‑generated benefit calculations and related correspondence
* Attend team meetings to understand priorities and offer support as required
* Engage in project work and other related tasks
What you will study
Working with our training provider, you will study for the Workplace Pensions Administrator Level 3 qualification. The apprenticeship programme is well structured, supported by a skills coach, mentors and line managers.
Career progression
There are many opportunities to progress beyond the apprenticeship. Apprentices often move into senior roles within Barnett Waddingham.
What we look for
You should have a friendly, customer‑focused approach, good attention to detail, a positive attitude, strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, and an ability to work with numbers. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills are essential.
Entry requirements
* A‑Level standard or equivalent with grade C or higher in two or more subjects, OR
* Minimum of five GCSEs Grade 4 (C) or equivalent, including Maths and English
