Quantity Surveyor
Yeovil or Bristol (Hybrid) | South West Projects
An established and growing property services contractor is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support delivery across a portfolio of social housing refurbishment works in the South West.
This is a hybrid role offering a mix of office, site, and home working, where you'll be given the autonomy to manage projects end-to-end while being part of a collaborative and supportive commercial team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the commercial management of planned refurbishment works (internal and external) within tenanted properties, including:
* Managing costs across the full project lifecycle
* Preparing estimates, tenders, and procurement programmes
* Procuring and managing subcontractors
* Producing cash flow forecasts and monthly valuations
* Submitting applications for payment and managing invoicing
* Monitoring budgets, variations, and contract performance
* Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and operational teams
* Supporting junior team members where required

About You
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within refurbishment or maintenance projects
* Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
* Strong knowledge of JCT and Measured Term Contracts
* Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with good stakeholder management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence required
