In this role, you'll have the opportunity to
* Design captivating game worlds from brief to concept, creating everything from symbol design and immersive backgrounds to engaging UI and FX
* Craft detailed concept art and storyboards that shape a game's visual identity and help bring new titles to life through collaboration
* Explore diverse visual styles such as fantasy, sci fi, cartoon and realism across multiple projects
* Build high quality 2D and 3D assets and animations, including textures, lighting, rigging, and shading that elevate gameplay experiences
* Optimise art assets to balance performance and visual quality for seamless mobile first play
* Drive innovation by integrating AI assisted tools into the creative process
* Work in a supportive cross functional team of artists, designers, developers, and QA professionals
* Stay at the forefront of visual trends in the slot gaming space, influencing the future of interactive entertainment
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy
* Developing concept art from early ideation to final production ready assets
* Working across 2D and 3D disciplines and switching between tools and styles with ease
* Contributing to creative discussions and iterating on ideas in a collaborative environment
* Exploring game themes visually through concept sketches, storyboards, and design mockups
* Creating polished animations, UI, and effects that engage and retain players
Your Ideal Skillset (Wishlist)
We’d love to hear from you if you bring experience with some of the following
* A strong portfolio of 2D and 3D artwork ideally showcasing slot or casino style games, but open to adjacent game or entertainment industries
* Tools such as Spine, Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, Maya or other industry standard software
* A knack for translating briefs into compelling visual experiences
* Familiarity with game pipelines and optimising art for performance
* Comfort with AI tools that streamline art development
* Ability to work at pace, respond positively to feedback, and balance multiple projects
* A genuine passion for gaming, especially slot games and mobile game environments
