The Corporate Technical Support Engineer Apprenticeship is an opportunity for individuals interested in Technology to work toward a formal qualification alongside full time employment. The role will involve shadowing, observing, and learning various related Corporate Technical support skills whilst gaining experience for a Level 3 Apprenticeship.This is a two-year apprenticeship designed to support your professional development and help you to grow within this organisation.
The Corporate Technical Support team action service calls relating to the use of IT devices and their applications, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and desktop computers. You will be interacting with users across numerous communication channels both virtual and face to face.
As a Corporate Technical Support Engineer Apprentice, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, for the services, products and platforms supported:
Responding to incidents, requests and changes
Monitoring the configuration, availability, security, capacity and performance. Engaging in continuous improvement activities.
Tracking the life cycle of assets from acquisition through to disposal applying quality updates to asset records.
Maximising the use of tools and technologies to deliver operational excellence.
Engaging in wider communities of practice, identifying good practices we can adopt and sharing our experiences.
