We’re working with a scaling, digital-first organisation to hire a Product Owner into a newly created role focused on front-end delivery. This Product Owner position will sit within a growing product team, working closely with a Product Manager and development teams to improve customer-facing features and journeys. It’s an opportunity for a Product Owner to take ownership of delivery, shape user experience, and contribute to a busy and evolving product landscape.
What you’ll be doing
As a Product Owner, you’ll take ownership of the front-end product backlog, focusing on customer journeys, website functionality, and overall user experience. You’ll define user stories, refine requirements, and work closely with engineering and QA teams to support delivery.
You’ll partner with the Product Manager to align on priorities and support roadmap planning, with a clear focus on execution. This Product Owner role is centred on delivery; ensuring features are well-defined, prioritised, and delivered effectively.
You’ll be involved in a range of key initiatives, including improving conversion journeys, enhancing cross-sell and upsell functionality, and supporting experimentation such as A/B testing. There is a significant volume of planned work, so you’ll play an important role in prioritisation and maintaining momentum across projects.
What experience you’ll need to apply
* Experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role.
* Experience working on front-end or customer-facing digital products.
* Strong understanding of eCommerce and ideally payment/ subscription models but is more desirable than essential.
* Ability to write clear user stories and define requirements.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering and QA.
* Understanding of user journeys, conversion, and optimisation.
* Comfortable managing a backlog in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment, this would suit somebody that has gained experience in a start-up or scale-up.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
You’ll receive a salary in the region of £45k – £53k, alongside a competitive benefits package. This Product Owner role offers hybrid working, with an expectation of three days per week in the office, becoming more flexible over time.
