Job Description
The Engagement Manager will build and maintain relationships with local communities, grassroots partners, local authorities, and services. They will work with young people and adults across Manchester in community settings, delivering sessions, consultations, co-creating work, attending events, and managing freelance artists and a staff member, the Schools and Creative Careers Coordinator. The aim is to enhance HOME’s presence locally and amplify unheard voices through community work.
The manager will collaborate with the Head of Creative Engagement to align the programme with organisational strategies and goals. They will work with other departments to develop a creative, accessible programme that enables everyone to engage with culture and explore their creativity.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with a background or interest in community engagement, experience working creatively with diverse age groups, and managing staff. Responsibilities include project coordination, administration, delivery, budget management, and maintaining stakeholder relationships. Effective communication and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
Job Requirements
