This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those on the Autistic Spectrum. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll work closely with a pupil on the Autistic Spectrum, helping them navigate their learning journey with confidence and care. Your responsibilities will include: Individual Support : Provide one-on-one assistance tailored to the pupil’s specific needs. SEN Expertise : Use your understanding of autism and SEN strategies to create a supportive learning environment. Collaborative Approach : Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement effective support plans. Positive Reinforcement : Encourage progress through patience, consistency, and positive behaviour strategies. Inclusive Learning : Help foster a classroom culture that values diversity and inclusion. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children with SEN, especially autism (in or outside of a school setting). A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
