THE COMPANY
A leading event production and creative agency specialising in high-impact corporate events and digital media. They produce memorable experiences such as awards ceremonies, conferences, trade shows, and bespoke activations for clients across various industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a new junior member for their production team, offering an excellent opportunity to learn about large-scale, complex events within a dynamic and expanding business.
THE ROLE
This Event Production Assistant position is entry-level and hands-on, ideal for someone looking to pursue a career in live events. The successful candidate will support the production team from concept to on-site execution, including creating technical plans, sourcing suppliers, assisting with logistics, managing quotes and RFPs, and participating in on-site delivery.
The role involves both warehouse operations and live event support, with responsibilities such as:
* Preparing for live events, ensuring equipment is maintained, packed, and dispatched properly
* Managing stock and checking for shortages or damages
* Supporting warehouse and office operations
* Assisting with event planning and logistics
* Conducting stock checks, equipment maintenance, and testing
* Driving company vans when needed
* Operating technical equipment after training
* Shadowing project managers and assisting on-site
THE CANDIDATE
This role is suitable for someone eager to develop a career in live event production. Prior experience is not mandatory, but a basic understanding of lighting, audio, and video systems is advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Effective time management, prioritisation, and multitasking abilities
* A team-oriented, proactive attitude
* Proficiency with standard office IT systems
* A full, clean driving licence (applicants must be 21 or over due to insurance requirements)
Please note: The role involves occasional weekend work, with options for time in lieu or overtime.
