This role is based within our fast-paced warehouse at our Hoddesdon depot and forms an essential part of the Best Food Logistics business in delivering the right products to our customers on time.
Working Hours
40 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 on a rolling rota, which will include weekends and public holidays. Typical Hours are 13.00pm - 21.30pm however flexibility is required

Responsibilities
* Ensure all stock is bulked up, shrink-wrapped and loaded correctly, which enables the Driver to unload the vehicle, according to the order of drops
* Responsible for ensuring that all pallets are securely wrapped and in the correct position before they are loaded onto vehicles, avoiding collision with other pallets or vehicle sides
* Ensure the manoeuvring of pallets onto the back of a vehicle is at a suitable speed, dependent on the size of the load
* Keep surrounding area clean and free from obstacles
* Be aware and comply with all fire safety procedures, including maintaining clear fire exits and escape routes
Requirements
Health & Safety is vital within this role therefore you will be expected to comply with all requirements of the Health and Safety policy and procedure including safety checks of all equipment before use and wearing Personal Protective Equipment. Safety starts with you!
