Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender / food sever to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Bartender/ server, you will be responsible for serving food and drink to our tables, providing excellent service, and ensuring that our patrons have a memorable time in our establishment. Applicants must be over 18 as bar work involved. Previous applicants need not apply.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to provide seamless service during busy periods.
* Uphold high standards of hospitality by being attentive to customer needs and responding promptly to requests for help.
* Manage time effectively during shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
Skills
* Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
* Strong basic maths skills for handling cash and making change accurately.
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to bar operations.
* Good time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service in a restaurant or bar setting
