A respected Geoenvironmental and Geotechnical consultancy is seeking a Principal Engineering Geologist to join their growing team in Newquay, Cornwall.

Responsibilities
* Leading multiple geo‑environmental and geotechnical projects of varying complexity
* Preparing and reviewing fee proposals, technical scopes and quality‑assured reports
* Providing expert input across ground investigation, interpretation and design
* Acting as a key technical contact for clients and design teams
* Mentoring junior and mid-level staff and supporting senior operational decisions
Qualifications
* Chartered status (CEng or CGeol) with extensive post‑graduate consultancy experience
* Strong foundation design, piled foundations and slope stability expertise
* Competence in ground investigation interpretation (BS 5930, BS 10175, Eurocode 7)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Live in or near to Newquay
* Full right to work in the UK
