We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school who are in urgent need of support for their Breakfast and After School Club provision.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a longer-term role within a nurturing and values-led school environment.

The role involves leading the Breakfast Club (7:30am–9am) and After School Club (3:00pm 6pm), creating a safe, engaging and caring environment that reflects the school’s values. There is the opportunity to add in an extra hour after Breakfast Club or before After School Club bringing the total hours up to 27.5 hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities
* Lead the daily running of the Breakfast Club and After School Club, creating a safe and welcoming environment
* Complete daily registrations and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
* Set up the provision and prepare resources ready for each session
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children from Reception to Year 6
* Prepare and provide snacks in line with health and safety requirements
* Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the provision
* From September, provide additional in-school support one day in Pre-School and one day in Reception
Experience and qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
* Experience working with children across early years and primary age, ideally Reception to Year 6
* Experience planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Confidence working within the EYFS framework, including Pre-School and Reception
* A secure understanding of safeguarding, with the ability to act as or work towards Designated Safeguarding Lead
* Paediatric First Aid and Health & Safety training desirable (training can be provided if required)
* A calm, organised and reliable approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationship
