To accelerate our expansion, UniUpp is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager – EdTech Demand Generation, with proven expertise in Google Ads, performance marketing, and student acquisition within the higher education sector.
The Role
This is a senior strategic position with full-funnel ownership of UniUpp’s digital acquisition strategy for UK student recruitment, focused primarily on Face-to-Face learning programmes.
You will lead Google Ads strategy and execution, manage over £500,000 in annual paid media investment, and oversee web performance, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), SEO, and enrolment growth.
The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, and thrives on delivering measurable growth through disciplined execution and insight-driven decision-making. You will report directly to the company’s leadership team and collaborate closely with operations, recruitment, and content teams to ensure consistent performance across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and lead UniUpp’s end-to-end digital acquisition strategy for domestic UK student recruitment, with full accountability for lead volume, quality, and conversion outcomes.

* Oversee web performance, CRO, and SEO to ensure seamless user experiences and maximise conversion rates.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams (Paid Media, Web, and Performance Content) to deliver integrated campaign execution.
* Conduct advanced data analysis, attribution modelling, and performance reporting to identify actionable insights and growth opportunities.
* Continuously monitor competitor activity, audience behaviour, and market trends, developing strategies to maintain UniUpp’s competitive advantage.
* Report directly to senior leadership with detailed insights, forecasts, and recommendations for strategic optimisation.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in the higher education or EdTech sector.
* Demonstrated success scaling student acquisition or enrolment campaigns for UK-based higher education institutions or agencies.
* Proven ability to manage six-figure paid media budgets (minimum £500,000 annually).
* Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, and YouTube) with a strong track record in conversion optimisation.
* Strong technical command of Google Analytics, Data Studio, and performance measurement frameworks.
* Advanced understanding of CRO, SEO, and user journey optimisation.
* Proven experience leading internal and external marketing teams across Paid Media, Web, and Content.
* Excellent analytical, strategic, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
