Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Aberdeen, Scotland

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Aberdeen for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time with shifts between 8am and 7pm, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The practice is looking for a veterinary surgeon who has good experience gained in a small animal practice, excellent communication skills and the ability to create trusting and dependable relationships with your clients. You will be competent in all routine medical and surgical procedures and consultations in order to provide the gold standard of care to the practice's patients and clients.

10. Computer system: Teleos
11. Team: 2 vets, range of experienced RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and a supportive non-clinical team

16. The practice currently has a a lot of talent, including, weekly ophthalmology clinics, with a Certificate holder.
17. They offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and diagnostics, including digital x-ray processing, dental x-ray machine, endoscope, arthroscope, Doppler ultrasound, comprehensive in-house labs.

About you
20. They are looking for a vet who has a good level of experience both in medicine and surgery
21. You will have excellent communications skills and client facing skills
22. You will have a positive attitude and show empathy to both clients and team members
23. You will encourage ongoing development of the team
24. You will be a team player and be able to work in a collaborative manner
25. You will be an experienced vet who is fully competent in all first opinion work
26. You will be confident working sole charge as this will be required at time
Package
27. Salary: Up to £55, pro rata, commensurate to experience
