The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large Housing Association, to recruit a Housing Officer on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of further extension.
Your new role
You will be responsible for delivering a range of generic frontline housing management and customer services in accordance with the Association's policies and procedures. This will include:
Delivering an excellent customer experience;Tenancy Management;Allocations and Void Management;Ie Recovery / Rent Arrears Management;Anti-Social Behaviour Case Management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
A degree plus 1 years’ experience working in housing/support services or tenancy/estate managementmunity/ voluntary sector or 5+ years’ experience working in housing/support services or tenancy/estate management/munity/ voluntary sector.Experience of working in a customer focused environment with a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service.
Ideally, you will possess:
Knowledge of working practices within housing associations providing social housing and a knowledge of current social housing policy and issues.Working knowledge of welfare reform and welfare benefit systems.
What you'll get in return
This position offers the opportunity to work with an established Housing Association on a temporary contract basis. You will be paid via Hays on a weekly basis.
