Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist with proven experience in managing procurement and logistics for large-scale international projects, particularly those financed through UK Export Finance (UKEF). The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing supplier engagement, shipping coordination, and contract compliance to support our ongoing and future projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
2. Coordinate logistics and shipping with international freight forwarders and shipping companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
3. Liaise with stakeholders, including UK Export Finance (UKEF), contractors, and international partners, to ensure project compliance and reporting requirements are met.
4. Review technical and architectural specifications to align procurement needs with project requirements.
5. Prepare and manage procurement documentation, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluations.
6. Conduct market research and identify qualified suppliers in the UK and abroad.
7. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, international trade laws, and ethical sourcing standards.
8. Ability to prepare and manage UKEF-compliant procurement and reporting documentation.
Essential Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
2. Demonstrated experience working on procurement activities for UKEF-supported projects or similar export finance projects.
3. Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and coordination with logistics providers.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
6. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills
1. Professional qualifications in procurement/supply chain (e.g., CIPS).
2. Experience with Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets.
3. Knowledge of architectural or engineering project workflows.

Pay: £24,420.00-£43,157.19 per year
