Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the day to day FOH operations, including staff and customer service. This role is pivotal in supporting the management team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations while fostering a positive work environment. The Assistant Manager will also be involved in team management and leadership, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
* Assist the Owner in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high standards and quality of service.
* Support team management by training, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve their best performance.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Help manage stock levels, including monitoring stock rotation.
* Collaborate with the Back-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Assist in planning menus, contributing creative ideas for seasonal menus.
Requirements
* Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
* Familiarity with health and safety, Food safety.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous Barista experience preferred but not essential.
