Role
The postholder will teach Biology to all year groups up to Advanced Higher and contribute to the School’s extra‑curricular programme. The teacher will plan curriculum, assessment and progression, develop schemes of work, create resources and maintain safe practice. A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, and a genuine passion for delivering engaging, well‑structured Biology lessons are essential.
Qualifications
* GTCS registered or eligible for registration
* Relevant subject‑specific teaching degree
* Passion for Biology and willingness to collaborate with the department to build a successful subject offering for all Senior School students, including contribution to extra‑curricular activities and science programmes.
Eligibility
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants cannot apply for a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate must have an alternative right to work in the UK.
